Especially, the hydrangea in Jogasaki-coast has a lot of varieties in the shape of the flower, and there are mop-head, double, and stripe bloom, etc.
The soil in Jogasaki-corst is acid because the leaf mould has collected on lava. Most flowers are blues in nature. However, it blooms in pink by adjusting PH in the farm.

The natural hybrid of Hydrangea. macrophylla and H. serrata(including H.serrata var. angustata) in Izu-peninsula

When it's certain degree ofer than a coastline (by an example in Akazawa, Ito-shi, than a sea, than), I enter a mountainside, it's really similar to Hydrangea macrophylla, but Shirahana mixes and a little bright hydrangea appears in a leaf. It's possible to watch carefully from the Atami-shi south to Higashiizu-cho. A leaf like following Minami-izu and gamble hydrangea in the woods can also be thought a little more, to enter a mountainside now.
